It is for this reason Bark Academy's Pet First Aid Course has a strong emphasis on risk assessment and prevention and will also include advice and notes on how to get a comprehensive client history.
At this Pet First Aid Course you'll learn what to do with the day to day situations Animal Handlers may face including; identifying and treating cuts and wounds, snake and insect bites, limb immobility, poisoning, heat stroke, grass seeds etc. Participants will also learn how to assess conditions such as vomiting & diahorrea and the First Aid Course will include some handy tips on what can be used around the house in cases of emergency. This Pet First Aid Course offers loads of variety combining - theory, a hands-on component using a real dog and other practical exercises. Included in this Pet First Aid Course is a handy Pet First Aid Booklet to take home or carry in your car and a Certificate of Participation.
