Our classes fill up quickly so if the class you want to join is full or if you are out of our area contact us anyway as we occasionally get cancellations plus we know other very good classes all over Melbourne.

Please note:- puppies need to experience as many positive experiences and learn as much during the critical learning period which is up to 16 weeks. We strongly encourage you to start classes as soon as you can particularly if you have a large breed puppy.

Puppy training is a wonderful way for puppies to begin to learn the basic obedience skills required to develop into happy, confident and well balanced dogs.

Our puppy classes are designed to help puppy parents teach their new pups:-

To be calm in the presence of other puppies and dogs
To keep focus while with other dogs and puppies
Emotional/impulse control
Sit with both verbal and hand cues
Drop/lie down
Loose lead walking
Come when called
Puppy Socialisation to their environment and other dogs
Puppy Toilet training
Puppy Bite inhibition
Handling
Polite Play with other puppies and dogs

Puppies practice calm during classes and as a reward we like to offer them quiet and well monitored puppy play sessions. These sessions are closely are great for puppies to learn how to play and interact politely with other puppies. They’re also to give parents the opportunity to learn how to identify what is appropriate and safe play.

We joined the Siberian Husky Club and went on out first walk around Albert Park Lake

She was the only pup amid about 20 adult Huskies and it was fantastic

Not only was she not intimidated by the larger dogs but she intermingled from the first moment no doubt as a result of her Puppy Class with you

Other owners could not believe that she sat when directed and we told them where she learned to do it

She has virtually trebled in size already and the cat is now being a bit reluctant about attacking her
