Over the weekend we attended the Annual Hop Haus Dachshund Race at Southbank! The venue was long dog heaven. They also had a costume competition for the less speedy, which was very entertaining.
This is the third year Hop Haus have put on the event as part of the Oktoberfest celebrations, with all proceeds going to Dachshund Rescue Australia.
My dog Little Lord Louie raced and we were also interviewed live on Sunrise for the occasion. Louie didn’t win in the final, but he’s well on his way to being a dog celebrity ;).
After the races we enjoyed some celebratory drinks in the sun with our friends, and honorary long dogs, Trigger and Willie.
