Frequently asked QUESTIONS
Playgroup is a 1 hour fun social group walk with gentle friends in the park.
Playgroup is ideal for dogs with excellent social skills and good recall, as we let our group members play and have fun together off-lead in the park.
We do not recommend Playgroup for dogs that feel stressed by the company of other dogs or humans, or by being in a public park environment. It is also important that each dog can sit and travel happily in the car during transit.
If you have an anxious or reactive dog, we can recommend a good positive reinforcement trainer who can help.
We will collect and drop off your dog at your home during business hours. We generally require access between 8am to 5pm on the day of service. You can contact us to request an estimated time of arrival.
If you are not home during the day, we recommend installing a keysafe on your property containing a key or providing our team member with a key at the meet & greet.
Our clients’ home security is of the utmost importance to us, and we keep all keys, FOBs, codes and access details private and secure.
Our Playgroups are organised into general time frames. You can choose from:
Anytime (8:00-4:30)
AM/MID (8:00-2:00)
MID/PM (10:30-4:30)
Each time frame encompasses multiple groups that we arrange based on the age, size, breed, personality and address of each dog on our schedule. Our arrival time within your selected time frame may vary depending on which group is most suitable for your dog on the day, so we appreciate some flexibility. This flexibility also helps us take into account unpredictable factors such as the weather, traffic and late bookings & cancellations.
We will allocate a team member based on your location within our service area. You can view each team member’s profile on our Team Members page.
Our team members’ police checks are available on request.
Our precious passengers are transported in our vehicles complete with:
- Air conditioning
- Separated areas with individual harnesses
- Regular cleaning and servicing
- Secure locking systems
- Comprehensive insurance (including special cover for canine transport).
You can be sure your fur babies are transported safely and comfortably at all times!
We operate Monday to Friday (not including public holidays).
Customer Service is available 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (not including public holidays). Queries made after 4pm will be answered the following business day.
We do not walk unneutured/unspayed dogs in our Playgroups over the age of 6 months, but if you have an upcoming vet appointment or are on the cusp, please still get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to help. We understand that vets often recommend the health benefits of waiting until a dog is older than 6 months before desexing.
We use force-free positive reinforcement methods that are considered current best practice by the Australian Veterinary Association. This ensures your dog will love us and feel confident in our Playgroups.
We do not condone the use of aversive training techniques that incorporate punishment, fear, pain or intimidation. We love dogs and that’s why this is our job!
We are fully insured and carry a Combined Public Liability policy for dog walking and training up to $10,000,000.
We take the confidentiality of property and personal details very seriously. All client and pet information is stored safely in our secure online system and keys are stored in locked safes.

In your message, please tell us your dog’s age and breed, and the street and suburb you reside in. If we have availability in that local group, we will send you a link to register on our secure online system and organise a time for a meet & greet with a member of our team.
